John George Lubas

John George Lubas, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was 38 years old.
John was the cherished fiancée of Christina Bonk; beloved son of John Jan and Elzbieta Lubas; loving brother of Katarzyna Lubas and Irene Wawrzynczak (Witold); dear Uncle of Aiden (Amanda), Kaylin, Alyssa, and Angelina, treasured son-in-law of John Bonk and Maryann Santos; and admired brother-in-law of Johnny Bonk (Brittany). 
As a lifelong animal lover, he is survived by his dog, Freya, his cat, Yoshi, and many fish. John has extended family in Poland who will miss him greatly, as well as many friends here at home. 
John was known as a “jack of all trades, master of none” and was always traveling from house to house, helping family and friends with various repairs and projects. He loved the outdoors and was often hiking, fishing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, camping, or stargazing. 
He was extremely loyal to his family and they will miss him tremendously.
