Leonard E. Rocco

August 10, 1939 — April 6, 2021

Leonard Edward Rocco, 81, of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 6

th

after a brief illness.  Son to the late Thomas H. Rocco and Hilda Rocco (nee Goldiner). Dear father to Thomas H. Rocco Sr. (Gail), Lenai Rocco and Lindzy Crozier. Devoted grandfather to Michael Boyle, Steven Boyle, Dominique Rocco and Thomas Rocco Jr. Beloved brother to Sandy Hartnett, Joyce Rocco, Randy Rocco and the late Joan Sutton. Leonard will be missed by many friends and other relatives.

Leonard was a great storyteller and always made people laugh.  He loved boxing and working out, and he was able to share these hobbies with most of his nephews.  He trained many of the Philadelphia Police Officers and other young boxers at his nephew’s gyms, and enjoyed every minute of it.  He also loved to sing; he and his late wife Barbara sang at local clubs together, and he even had some hit records back in the 1960s.  He also played a role in a recent documentary that will be coming out soon, “The Lost Sons”.  He was a mensch and will be missed by so many.

Services for Leonard will be held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research,
