Margaret Hartung

Margaret “Margie” Hartung (Dougherty) of Media, PA, formerly from Drexel Hill, PA, peacefully passed away on May 12, 2024. Margie was a longtime, beloved, suite attendant at Veteran’s Stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, and Citizen’s Bank Park. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and large extended family. 

Margaret is survived by her loving children: Amie McHugh (Tom), Jennifer Mullin (Tom), Colleen Foster (CJ Kessler), Jeanine Foster (Sean), and Robert Foster.  She cherished her grandchildren: Joshua, Olivia, Kiley, Liam, Chloe, Cara, Brett, Braeden, Skylar, Bode, Nathan, Grayson, and Ariana. Margaret is survived by her siblings: Kathleen, Joe, Mary Liz, Jeffry, Jeanie, Lisa, Jerry and Jimmy. She is also survived by a large extended family and many lifelong friends both old and new. She was predeceased by her parents John and Kathleen Dougherty and her brother John.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman on Monday May 20th, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill. PA 19026. Visitation will be held from 9am to 11am in the church, followed by a mass of Christian burial to start promptly at 11 am. 

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations in her honor to Special Olympics of Delaware County, PO Box 1202, Havertown, PA 19083. or the charity of your choice. Please pay forward Margaret’s giving spirit by doing random acts of kindness in her honor.
