Paul R. Pollock of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully in his sleep with his loving
wife and a few of his beloved Brittanys by his side after a long battle with cancer.
Paul was born in Woodbury, NJ, devoted son of the late Alexander W. Pollock Sr. and
Mildred Consalo Pollock of Brooklawn, NJ, and loving husband to his wife and best
friend, Lisa. Paul worked very hard throughout his life, building a successful career in
the insurance industry. These great efforts were mirrored in his enjoyment of his
favorite experiences in life – sports, hunting, fishing, and pretty much anything that
involved being in the great outdoors. But his ultimate passion came later in life
when he acquired his first Brittany. Side by side, he and his wife, Lisa, traveled the
country successfully competing in bird dog field trials with their cherished Brittanys.
His philanthropic support of The English Setter Club of America, and the Brittany
Field Trial Museum at The Bird Dog Foundation, will truly, forever be evidence of
Paul’s great love and dedication to the sport.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife Lisa, his mother Mildred Consalo Pollock, his son
Brian, daughter Jenifer (John) Warren, and grandson William. He will also be greatly
missed by his siblings Alexander (Kathleen), Linda (George) Thorp, Joseph (Mary),
and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, surviving him is his many adoring
Brittanys, who he was always quoted as saying, “I love them more than most
people!”
Per his request, a private celebration of Paul’s life will be held amongst close family
and friends. He asked not to mourn him but to celebrate his life.
Paul also requested, that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to one of the
